Pico da Velha Viewpoint

Pico da Velha Viewpoint is in an elevated area of São Jorge and provides a broad reading of the island's green relief. Depending on the exact position and visibility, the landscape includes hillsides, pastures, small rural settlements and the Atlantic. The height emphasises the continuity between the mountainous interior and slopes descending towards the coast.
