Pedra dos Estorninhos Viewpoint lies in Nordeste, São Miguel, beside the landscape crossed by the walking route connecting Padrão, Alminhas and Salto da Farinha. It provides context over the indented coastline and green slopes of this part of the island, where deep streams descend towards the Atlantic. Its elevated setting allows visitors to appreciate the sequence of ridges, ravines and small rural areas characteristic of the municipality.
