November Rain

November Rain takes place at Coliseu Micaelense in Ponta Delgada on Monday, 30 November 2026, at 9 pm. The Filarmónica Lira Nossa Senhora da Estrela will perform a symphonic tribute to Guns N’ Roses, with a scheduled duration of approximately 70 minutes.

The programme includes songs such as November Rain, Don’t Cry, Civil War and Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door. Azorean composer Hélder Bettencourt created the symphonic arrangements, and conductor Roberto Martins will lead the performance.

The band returns to the Coliseu stage after concerts devoted to Pink Floyd and Dire Straits. This performance brings the music of an American rock group into the Azorean concert band tradition, giving audiences on São Miguel a different way to hear familiar songs.

Doors open at 8 pm. Tickets are advertised at €10 to €20. Visitors with reduced mobility should contact the Coliseu Micaelense box office to arrange suitable seating; for safety reasons, boxes and balconies on the upper floors are unavailable to them.
