EPIC Azores 2026

From 3 to 5 December 2026, São Miguel will host EPIC Azores, a three-day trail-running event centred on competitive racing across the island.

Seven races are planned for this edition. Their courses extend through five São Miguel municipalities, giving the programme a broad island-wide setting rather than a single-course format.

Vila Franca do Campo is identified as the event’s reference location. The race weekend combines sporting challenge with the contrasting landscapes and terrain found around São Miguel.

Runners, travelling companions and local spectators can look forward to a major fixture in the Azores trail-running calendar. Registration, rules, schedules and practical race information should be checked with the organiser before attending.
