Mantamaria Dive Center

Mantamaria Dive Center is based at Vila do Porto Marina on Santa Maria and specialises in diving and maritime activities. Established in 2009, it works with instructors, divemasters, skippers and support staff. The centre has boats equipped for diving and coastal trips, a filling station, and equipment for training and recreational outings.

Its programme includes guided dives, introductory dives, SSI and PADI courses, snorkelling, freediving, paddle activities, boat trips and experiences in marine protected areas. Popular destinations include Baixa do Ambrósio and the Formigas and Dollabarat reefs, always subject to sea state, participant experience and team planning. The centre is open every day from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Booking requirements, necessary certification, included equipment and the embarkation point should be confirmed for each activity.
