Terra Incógnita

Terra Incógnita holds its Flores event on 24 October 2026. Participants are due to meet at 2:00 pm by Lajes das Flores Town Hall. The locations of the activities will be disclosed on the day.

This Flores programme presents work created by Galician artist Carme López with the União Operária e Cultural Nossa Senhora dos Remédios philharmonic band. Their collaboration is part of an edition that brings guest artists and local bands together across three Azorean islands.

The programme includes a sound walk, a presentation of the residency and a conversation with the artists. The women’s choir Cantarilhas will perform a concert created for the occasion, while Piqueniques ao Entardecer will provide the food offering.

The event is promoted by Associação Cultural Plutão Camaleão. The ticket listing gives a duration of four hours and says the return journey to Lajes das Flores Town Hall begins at 6:00 pm. As the route and individual activity times will only be announced on the day, residents and visitors should use the published meeting place and departure time to plan their visit.
