Províncias Viewpoint

Províncias Viewpoint occupies high ground in Fajã de Cima, in the municipality of Ponta Delgada. Opened on 23 June 2004, it provides a view over the parish's houses and, in clear conditions, towards the sea. This is a local lookout integrated into a residential and rural area.

The stop helps visitors understand how Fajã de Cima sits within the Picos area and how its neighbourhoods and fields relate to the south coast and nearby countryside. Daylight makes the landscape easier to read, while low cloud can hide the horizon. Park without obstructing residents, agricultural tracks or the avenue, keep noise low and leave the place clean. Do not cross barriers or enter private land in search of a different viewing angle.
